Technology is taking over the world. Fortunately for the world, there is a generation of technology-hungry students that would do anything to be able to make it their career.

That’s where PowerOne steps in. By becoming One Powerful Solution to many of Central Florida’s technology needs, PowerOne has discovered a need for talented individuals, and wants to help. That’s why we have created the PowerOne Technology Fund.

Funds for the scholarship are derived from the PowerOne Annual Golf Tournament. The supporters of this tournament make it possible for many Lake and Sumter County students to develop skills that will guide them for a lifetime. The proceeds from the Golf Tournament supports sending Lake and Sumter County students to college to further their education in the area of Technology.

• Must be a legal resident of Lake or Sumter County
• Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 in high school or college
• Must submit two letters of recommendation
• Must have completed at least 75 hours of community service
• Must attend postsecondary school full-time
• Must major in a Technology program
• Must be an incoming freshman or currently enrolled as an undergraduate student in a post-secondary institution
